Why a Day-Of Coordinator?

A lot has changed in the world of wedding planning and in the age of Pinterest, couples have unlimited access to ideas and inspiration! So you've got the vision, but who is going to bring it to life? Not every couple has the budget or need for a full-scale planner or designer, but every couple needs a Coordinator. Someone to execute your vision, to cue that dream entrance, to wrangle your bridal party for speeches! To put it simply, you invest WAY too much time and, frankly, money to leave the day up to chance! You and your loved ones deserve to enjoy every moment and that means mimosa sipping bliss not plating cookies and setting tables. Your Maid of Honor & Best Man are rockstars and I know they’ve got this on LOCK, which is why she should be by your side all morning, enjoying the day with you! (Psst they still have a list of duties, it just don’t involve greeting your florist or picking up your Mom’s friend’s cookies!)

Why Kelly?

Short answer: I'll be there for you! Consider me your professional Maid of Honor. I'm  like your Maid of Honor if your Maid of Honor carried a trapper keeper and really loved jewel tones. Throughout a decade of work in the hospitality industry, I have polished a level of customer service that is unmatched. A genuine care for the success of an event and my client's satisfaction is the driving force behind the service that I provide each and every couple.

My story...

My name is Kelly and I am a Day-Of Wedding Coordinator, but if you've gotten this far, you know that already.

Here's some things you may not know about me...

I'm a Pittsburgh girl born and raised in the South Hills. I took my first job in the Hospitality Industry washing dishes in my teens. After that, for years to come I worked in the service industry. I waited tables, delivered pizza, bartended, you name it. I worked through high school and eventually college where I studied Hospitality at IUP. It was there that my interest in the wedding industry was sparked and I took every course I could on the subject. It combined my love for the hustle of the service industry with the creativity of art and design (I also did a brief stint as an art student, but that's another story for another day...) After college, I started working in events in a different arena; live music. I completed an internship at Stage AE in their promotions department and worked part time at a local radio station. I never lost my interest in weddings, though. I began assisting an incredible wedding planner and after working my first wedding, I was hooked...

For me, there's nothing quite like watching it all come together for my couples and their families to enjoy.

My favorite part of every wedding is the moment the dance floor opens (and it's not just because that's usually my first chance to sit down aaand maybe eat a cookie or two). I absolutely adore watching you and your loved ones dance and celebrate your love for one another. There's something so wholesome about a room full of yinzers scream singing Don't Stop Believing that restores my faith in humanity LOL (but seriously).

It is truly an honor being a part of your special day.

                                                                                                                     Cheers!
